FlashCard Script
This site contains a JavaScript applet that acts like a FlashCard program. The eventual goal of this project is to make a completely client-side, user-friendly FlashCard program that allows the input of a file on the user's hard disk or on the Internet, and then randomly quizzes users on the contents of the cards, as well as one that runs on as many browsers as possible.
The present version, v0.1, only does some of these things. It is necesary to open the file yourself, copy its contents into a text area, and press a button in order to load, and it is not yet 'user-friendly' by my definition. So far, I have found this script not to work with Internet Explorer 5/mac and 6/win2000, and Netscape 3/mac; any other browsers may or may not work. Well, it's a start.
Access a demonstration flashcard file. This file will work in the FlashCard script; just copy it and paste it into the appropriate text box in the script.
